Back in 1993, AT&T predicted the future of technology, and I can't believe how on the money they were.
I mean sure there are some misses with things that seem ancient technological speaking. We don't even have telephone booths anymore, and RFID tags mean you don't have to swipe a credit card to pay a toll without slowing down, but otherwise, there's nothing in this video that we can't do right now.
The other thing I find interesting about the AT&T commercials is how hopeful and sure they were about the future.
Compare that to the doom and gloom of today's visions of the future, and you can understand why people are looking backwards with some nostalgia:
