Trump has said in the past that he wants to build the American version of the Arc de Triomphe in Washington DC, proposing the Memorial Circle Arch last year.
Friday, he released some concept art for the arch over on Truth Social:

And just for fun, we'll put it to a vote. I'll be straight up and tell you I like Arch 2 because it's the loudest, has all the gold, and has the classic Roman/Greek look on the statues instead of the real people.

I'm sure when the original Washington Monument was proposed that it had its naysayers too, but now it's a classic.
But because it's Trump, everyone will suddenly act like building monuments it's the most evil and dystopian thing they've ever heard of.
