You could almost hear the collective sigh of relief from female athletes nationwide yesterday, as Trump signed an executive order barring men from playing women's sports.
The details:
Therefore, it is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy. It shall also be the policy of the United States to oppose male competitive participation in women's sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.
The order gives the secretary of education the authority to "protect all-female athletic opportunities and all-female locker rooms and thereby provide the equal opportunity guaranteed by Title IX," including "enforcement actions" against schools that force women and girls to "compete with or against or to appear unclothed before males."

Imagine trying to explain the future to people from just 10 year ago, where celebrity billionaire Donald Trump is in the White House signing orders to protect girls sports while Democrats call him Hitler, and British children's author JK Rowling is coming to his defense.
