Trump says "Windmills kill birds." Vox's rebuttal? "Yeah, but so do cats!" 🤔
· Oct 23, 2020 · NottheBee.com

Desperate to take down literally anything Trump says, it's sometimes almost inspiring the heights (or depths) lefty journalists will go to in order to "fact check" the president.

Case in point:

During the final 2020 Presidential Debate, Trump said about windmill-generated power: "It's extremely expensive. Kills all the birds."

Of course, anyone with two brain cells to rub together can recognize that the "all" in that sentence is hyperbole, but that doesn't stop our heroic fact-checkers at Vox from pulling a full-on ACKSHUALLY on Trump:

"...if it's the bird population he's really worried about, his true enemy is cats, which are the true enemies of the birds."

What? Cats and birds are natural enemies?

I... I really don't understand what their point is.

Like, did they really think that by pointing out that wind turbines kill a lot of birds, Trump means that it is the ONLY or even the GREATEST method by which birds can be killed?

Vox. Bro. Listen... I don't think this is the "gotcha" rebuttal you think it is.

Did I mention they included graphs for some reason? Cause they included graphs:

Wow. Cool. Yeah. Cats, who have been killing birds since the dawn of cats and birds, continue to kill birds. Mind-blowing.

Sorry, I still just don't understand the point. This is kind of like if Biden said "COVID killed a million people!" And your response was "You know what killed even more people? THE HOLOCAUST!"

Like, okay... yes. That's true. And...?

It's such a bizarre red herring that the only possible reason I can think of is that they must have more sinister underlying motives here. This isn't about wind turbines and green energy. This isn't about saving birds.

This is about a war on cats.

Vox has it in for cats, and is trying to start some kind of species war against them --some kind of mass genocide of cats! It's literally the only explanation that makes sense.

And, so, pet-owners, I close with a final plea:

Cat-lovers: You know who to vote for.

Dog-lovers: Don't assume you're safe. Once the cats are out of the way, you're next. You know who to vote for.

Komodo Dragon-lovers: Something's wrong with you. I feel like I should just say that.
