What message was the National Security Agency trying to send with this one? I think it's a way of acknowledging the sacrifice of the Lenten season while noting the daily sacrifice the spook community makes to keep America safe, but it's a weird connection and also, just... no.

It could also be the NSA's way of subtweeting about Orwellian clampdowns on religion in the pipeline. I really have no clue.

Basically, the NSA weirded out the entire population of the U.S. in one fell swoop. In fact, this may have been the most unifying action a government agency has taken under the Biden administration. Impressive!
