Twitter’s Jack Dorsey caught red-handed saying something true: "We are focused on one account right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account."

You know all the crazy people who claimed that Donald Trump isn't the real target, but that the real target was his followers?

So, so cray cray.

This is a recording a Twitter employee provided to Project Veritas of an address Dorsey made last week to Twitter's approximately 5,400 employees.

"You should always feel free to express yourself in whatever format manifestation feels right."

When a normal person says that, you might feel comforted, reassured even.

When a billionaire tech titan sporting the chic homeless heroin addict look says that in a passionless monotone, the webcam reflecting his dead, soulless eyes, you might instead feel the blood drain from your face and a cold, damp, chill envelope your body.

Which is kind of the same thing.

"We are focused on one account [@realDonaldTrump] right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account,..."

Well, he's always been ambitious. We admire that in America.

"...and it's going to go on for much longer than just this day,..."

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day! It wasn't torn down in a day either now that I'm thinking about it.

"...this week,..."

These things do take time.

"...and the next few weeks,..."

Commitment. Commitment is good.

"and go on beyond the inauguration."

Oh, okay. Infinity then. This will go on into infinity.

"So, the focus is certainly on this account [@realDonaldTrump] and how it ties to real world violence..."

They are concerned about violence. Violence is bad. You will only be silenced and kicked off the platform if your comments have a tie to violence, such as the violence that could have been done to Joe Biden's election prospects had people been allowed to read the New York Post about Hunter Biden.

"But also, we need to think much longer term around how these dynamics play out over time."

Hint: You're the "dynamic."

"And the moves that we're making today around Q Anon for instance..."

Well, Q Anon does have some wacky ideas about...

"...one such example of a much broader approach that we should be looking at and going deeper on. So the team has a lot of work and a lot of focus on this particular issue. But we also need to give them the space and support to focus on the much bigger issue.

Bigger issue?

Oh, that bigger issue.

"You know, the U.S. is extremely divided. Our platform is showing that every single day, and our role is to protect the integrity of that conversation,..."

Integrity? Is that what we're calling it now?

"...and do what we can to make sure that no one is being harmed based off that and that is the focus."

So many new words to redefine.

Merriam-Webster is going to be busy!

At least we can sleep soundly at night knowing that Jack Dorsey is at the helm, guiding us through these perilous times of wrongthink.

But, you might want to start contemplating a plan B...
