Guys, what in the world is going on with all this drone news?
This case doesn't look like it's related to the New Jersey drone incidents, based on what we know so far, but it is another case of knuckleheads putting folks in danger.
This all happened on Saturday night when a police officer saw a drone flying "dangerously close" to Logan International, in Boston.
In a statement, the Boston Police Department said one of its officers specializing in surveillance saw there was an Unmanned Aircraft System flying near Logan International Airport.
The officer was able to track its altitude, flight history, location and the operators' location, which was a former health center on Long Island [not New York], part of the Boston Harbor Islands.
Two dudes, Robert Duffy, 42, and Jeremy Folcik, 32, were arrested Saturday night and booked for trespassing with a third suspect still on the lam.
They're working with Homeland Security, state police, the Federal Communications Commission, the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the airport's air traffic control team on the investigation.
Again, the authorities did not make a connection between this drone incident and the incidents in New Jersey and elsewhere on the East Coast.
