UK Campaign fights for the rights of "People Who Bleed" to have paid menstrual leave every month
· Feb 18, 2021 · NottheBee.com

The Genderless Menstrual Leave UK campaign is petitioning the government to create a leave policy that would allow for menstruators of all genders (or no gender whatsoever) to take one day of paid leave each month. This would be separate from regular sick leave.

And you thought it was embarrassing carrying a purse around at work. Just try emailing your boss that it's your day-off for the month(ly.)

According to DIVA Magazine,

"Genderless Menstrual Leave UK's campaign is rapidly gaining traction, with a change.org petition gaining 183 signatures in just one week."

WOOHOO 183 SIGNATURES!

Super groundbreaking work, guys (people?). I'm sure the UK government will be on top of this idea right away.

While their efforts are ambitious, I wonder why they limit it to just one day a month. Like, have they ever even met a woman? Er, I mean, a bleeder?
