US-bound flight forced to reroute back to Tokyo after American passenger bites flight attendant

I know some of y'all be getting hungry on these long international flights, but this is a little too far.

Yes, a drunk American man sunk his teeth into a flight attendant's arm, leaving her "slightly injured." Not sure if this was out of anger or simply due to the delay in the pretzel delivery. Possibly both (There was no delay in the pretzel delivery).

A US-bound ANA plane had to return to Tokyo after an intoxicated passenger bit a cabin attendant mid-flight, the Japanese carrier said Wednesday. The passenger, reportedly a 55-year-old man believed to be American, sunk his teeth into a crew member's arm while "heavily drunk," leaving her mildly injured, an All Nippon Airways spokesman told AFP.

The incident prompted pilots of the plane with 159 passengers on board to turn back over the Pacific to Haneda airport, where the man was handed over to police, according to ANA.

Americans and their booze, am I right?

And why am I not surprised by this: The man told police he has no recollection of the bite, probably because he was drunk off his gourd.

Like, if you're going to fly somewhere and you need that much booze to get you through the flight you should probably just not fly places. Stay home and get drunk by yourself. Bite your neighbor or something, but don't ruin my travel plans by getting my flight rerouted because you can't hold your booze.

Anyway, the conspiracy theories have already started but I'm sure everything is fine!
