Klaus and his buddies at the WEF couldn't be more proud of this school in a supposedly conservative state.
For an assignment on the evils of cattle farming, this Utah school had a classroom of kids "eat ze bugs" ... because bug burgers are something these woke lefties really want to make happen.
From Fox:
A middle school in Utah's Nebo School District gave sixth-grade students "disgusting" insects to eat last week as part of an English assignment on climate change, claiming it would save the environment from cows which were "killing the world," according to a mom who spoke with Fox News Digital.
"Middle schoolers loved the 'ewww' factor, many of them gave bugs a try (and even a few staff members!). Many thanks to our English teachers for creating fun and engaging lessons," the Spring Canyon Middle school said about the March 7 assignment.
Wait a minute. I mean, I oppose exposing kids to radical climate science and encouraging them to eat bugs because of some bizarre climate cult, but doing it as part of an English assignment?
Make it make sense people! What does EATING BUGS have to do with writing and grammar? No wonder our kids can't read — all they learned in English is that cow farts are going to destroy the planet.
Supposedly the bugs were sourced from a place that makes bugs "safe for consumption." But just the idea of eating these revolting little critters makes the stomach churn.
Here's how they connected the assignment to English:
The climate change assignment instructed sixth-graders to write an argumentative essay, but did not permit students to disagree. The only acceptable answer was that humans should eat insects for their protein instead of cows, which are destroying the Ozone layer with methane gas.
Some students were given extra credit as an incentive to eat the insects.
My goodness. Utah, get your kids out of these brainwashing centers. This isn't an English assignment, it's a Marxist cult religion assignment. They can't use their reasoning and common sense, they have to repeat party-line propaganda and repeat it back to the state-funded teachers.
ESG is in the schools, people.
[The mom] complained to the administration, and set up a meeting which she recorded.
"[My daughter] wasn't given an option to give an argument," Wright said about the argumentative essay in the meeting.
"Well, the assignment was about finding facts to support," Hansen said.
"All the evidence has suggested, that we probably should be eating bugs – it's good for the environment, etc. But I didn't know that that was an offensive topic to indicate," teacher Kim Cutler said, according to an audio recording.
There's also recording of the daughter asking a similar question, and the teacher and school give the same party line answer: All the evidence says you must eat ze bugs! There is no alternative! Eat ze bugs or the earth will burn up!
"There's only one right answer!"
This school in Utah, like many public schools, is nothing more than a woke indoctrination center.
You have to get your kids away from the bug eating wackos who worship Gaia.
