Such a sad story here, and this was all over a complaint this pastor made to the Homeowners Association about the neighbor's dogs and chickens.

This didn't have to happen.

Pastor Nick Davi was fatally shot in his driveway as his kids watched from inside the car.

A Las Vegas area pastor was shot and killed in his driveway during an alleged dispute with his neighbor as his family, including two children, watched the horrifying moment unfold just feet away.

Nick Davi, 46, a pastor at Grace Point Church in North Las Vegas, was gunned down when Joe Junio, 36, confronted the family outside their townhouse in the Courts at Aliante gated community last month, according to FOX 5 Vegas.

The woman had reportedly been showing signs of her lunacy and "escalating threatening behavior" after the Davi family filed a complaint about her to the Homeowners Association for violations regarding chickens and dogs.

According to police, the altercation and eventual murder occurred as Junio was passing by in her car while the Davi family got ready to leave their home for the evening. Junio stopped the car and rolled her window down. Nick Davi took a step toward the vehicle, asking Junio, "What's your problem with us?" And that's when the deranged neighbor stepped out of the car with a gun and shot Nick and his wife, Sarah. Both Nick and Sarah were rushed to the hospital, but only Sarah would survive. Luckily, the children were inside the car and unharmed.

Weeks before the shooting, Junio began to show signs of "escalating threatening behavior" after Davi reported her to the HOA for violations involving chickens and dogs, a police report obtained by KLAS read.

Junio, who was licensed with the Nevada Real Estate Division, was arrested at the scene, FOX 5 Vegas reported.

She has since been charged with open murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, battery, child abuse/neglect, and discharging a gun/weapon where a person might be endangered, according to jail records viewed by The Post.

Such a shame that there are people out there who will pull a gun on you for such trivial matters.

All this lady had to do was respect the rules and take the L, but apparently prison was her home of choice. A lawsuit seeking damages says the HOA "knew or should have known that Defendant would likely perform violent actions against deceased and Plaintiff as a result of on-going association dispute."

So many prayers for the Davi family. We live in a fallen world.

To have to witness the murder of your father, your husband โ€” man, that just tears at your heart just thinking about it.
