Most of us by this point are familiar with Florida's House Bill 1557, the Parental Rights in Education Bill, one that has generated controversy largely because of a provision that bans "classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity" from kindergarten through third grade.
"Don't teach five-to-seven-year-olds about sexuality and 'transgenderism'."
That seems like a pretty uncontroversial legal proposal, does it not? Who could possibly be against such a thing?
Well, the White House, for one:
A bill like this, that would discriminate against families, against kids, put these kids in the position of not getting the support they need at a time where that's exactly what they need. It's discriminatory. It's a form of bullying. It is horrific. I mean, the president has spoken to that.
That's right, folks: The Biden administration apparently believes that it is "horrific" to not teach five-year-olds about "sexual orientation." This is their stated position.
Yes, Republicans: run on this. You'd be crazy not to!
