How is this for old-fashioned Midwestern hospitality?
A man crashed into a light pole on I-94 in Minnesota and watch what happened next:
It looks like we had got about five good Samaritans on the scene before the authorities arrived, trying multiple ways to get the man out of the driver's seat.
His car was smashed against the guardrail so they couldn't get him out either of the driver-side doors and eventually ended up pulling him from the window.
Kadir Tolla, one of the good Samaritans who ran toward the spurting flames to help, told FOX9 Minneapolis that he was on his way to meet clients when he passed the burning wreck.
"He was awake," Tolla said of the driver. "He was saying pull me out, pull me out, pull me out."
The video above is from the first good Samaritan's dashcam.
He was quickly joined by others who risked serious burns to get the man out of the car.
As the flames continued to encroach on the trapped driver, a highway worker arrived and shattered the window, allowing the good Samaritans to pull the man out to safety.
The driver was taken to the hospital but reportedly only suffered minor injuries.
This took guts!
Absolute heroes! ๐ค
