You might have seen a fair bit of tornado footage in your life, but I can bet you've probably never seen anything quite so harrowing as what Connor Stines and his sister saw.

Connor said this on X:
Last night, my sister and I were driving on I-35 when the Valley View tornado hit the gas station. We pulled into the gas station so that I could look at radar, and then we took shelter.
Sounds like everybody made it out of the gas station in one piece, including the son of the woman who was screaming (he was in the restroom).
Their car was not so lucky:
Neither were 19 people who were killed as this major line of twisters and heavy storms moved across the South:
Severe weather over the Memorial Day weekend has left at least 19 people dead across four states. At least eight deaths have been reported in Arkansas, seven in Texas, two in Oklahoma and two in Kentucky.

Stay sharp out there, folks - more storms are expected throughout Monday.
