WATCH: Live Action's Lila Rose went on Dr. Phil and expertly defended the pro-life position against this angry pro-abortion activist ✊

With the repeal of Roe v. Wade, there is a massive cultural moment to persuade Americans that life in the womb deserves protection, and there is no better example of a compassionate and persuasive pro-life advocate than Lila Rose.

Rose went on the Dr. Phil show Monday to discuss abortion, where she was confronted by an angry pro-death advocate in the audience.

Watch her response:

The pro-death advocate went straight for the typical pro-abort argument, the rape case.

Even though less than 1% of abortions involve rape cases, this is the sob story that abortion advocates use to justify their whole worldview and accuse pro-lifers of not caring about women.

When charged with an inhumane "lack of empathy," Rose explains why the pro-life position is THE most compassionate and caring position.

Rose: "Abortion is devastating to a woman's mental health, no one talks about that. The year after a woman has an abortion — "

Pro-abort: "You know what's really [unintelligible] rape, a woman to have a child, what kind of trauma is that?"

Rose: "The trauma is from the rape. The trauma is from the rape. The child's the innocent party there — "

Pro-abort: "The child is not born yet, it's not 'there.'"

This is the justification for murdering the preborn. If they aren't born, according to the pro-death position, they aren't really "there." The unborn don't exist in any real sense.

Rose regains her position as speaker, shuts down the interrupting pro-abort, and explains the twisted moral logic of the rape exception for abortion.

Rose: "We should not take out generational sin on a child. To say there's sin and that dad was an abuser and that child should be killed."

Pro-abort: "We're not talking about sin. We're talking about rights. And he just said a right has been taken away from us."

Rose: "I want to address that because the fundamental human right that we all share in this room is life. It's the first human right. Laws are meant to protect the weak. In a society, who's the weakest? The child. They don't have a voice — "

Pro-abort: [Incoherent rambling]

Rose: "Listen, whether you live ten minutes, ten years, you're a human life and you have the right to not be killed."

Lila absolutely nails it.

The pro-abort in the audience probably isn't going to listen or change her mind based on Rose's testimony here.

But there are hundreds of thousands of people watching Dr. Phil, many of whom are persuadable.

Rose is kind, compassionate, and pleasant. It's an extreme juxtaposition to the anger and hatred spewed from the other side of the argument.

There's reason to get mad about the deaths of millions of babies, but Lila Rose and Live Action's approach is persuasive, truly empathetic, and will bring women, the most important demographic on this issue, over to the pro-life side.
