We're sure to get some great clips from the congressional hearings on the massive Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota, but this one might just take the cake:
That's Brandon Gill (R-TX) absolutely barbecuing Minnesota Democrat lawyer Brendan Ballou.
To review Gill's stats, that's:
54% of Somalis are on food stamps
73% on Medicaid
81% on Welfare
78% on Welfare after 10 years
So apart from the fraud, even if you consider the law-abiding Somali immigrants, the group as a whole is taking more from the country than they're contributing.
But that's not all. A whistleblower says Tim Walz retaliated against and fired people for calling out the fraud:
Then, Rep. Nancy Mace took her turn tearing into the Democrat witness, forcing him to defend keeping Somali fraudsters in the U.S.:
In his opening statement Rep. James Comer said this is just the "tip of the iceberg."
More to come -- likely including an appearance from Tim Walz. Hopefully, we'll see someone go to prison for this, and not just a bunch of meaningless hearings.
