Watch: Scores of incoming University of Michigan medical students walk out of white coat ceremony because speaker is pro-life

Immediately after taking the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm, dozens of new medical science students at the University of Michigan walked out of their initiation ceremony because the event's speaker thought doctors shouldn't kill babies in the womb.

The speaker was Dr. Kristin Collier, a pro-life assistant professor of medicine at the university's medical school.

Some students had petitioned for the school to remove her as the speaker – yes, to cancel a professor who teaches at the school itself – simply because she is pro-life.

During her speech, Collier didn't mention abortion, Roe, or anything controversial at all. She even tried to smooth things over by trying to build bridges with the entitled med students who would destroy her name and career for believing differently than them.

From Fox:

"I want to acknowledge the deep wounds our community has suffered over the past several weeks," Collier started her speech, which could have been a veiled reference to the controversy surrounding the protest or the U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade.

"We have a great deal of work to do for healing to occur," she continued, the National Review reported. "And I hope that for today, for this time, we can focus on what matters most: coming together to support our newly accepted students and their families with the goal of welcoming them into one of the greatest vocations that exist on this earth."

What an extremist!

Get ready for the next generation of doctors, y'all!
