Michael Knowles is right: It's pretty much "impossible to overstate" just how large the gap is between Senator Joe Biden of 2002 and President Joe Biden of 2022:

I don't even need to know what this whole controversy was about. It doesn't matter if Biden was being fair (probably not), honest (LOL) or accurate (oookay).

What matters is that the man in this clip appears to be fully in charge of his faculties, in possession of a forceful and conscious personality, capable of coherent trains of thought and meaningful communication.
