Florida State Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith (D) is confused why the state legislature is adopting a resolution to condemn socialism:

"Wow. These are stunning allegations that socialism has killed people around the world."

He clarifies that he means "democratic" socialism, which is where you vote for the people who shoot your family and ship you off to the gulag.
