Okay, this is hilarious.
A lot of teams have promotions during games, and the Clippers have a promotion that gives the crowd free chicken if an opponent misses both free throws.
Last night, the Houston Rockets traveled to the LA Clippers. The 7'4" Rockets center Boban Marjanoviฤ became a hero to the home crowd after he intentionally whiffed on a free throw to get them free Chick-fil-A.
He may be on the opposing team, but I think Boban just made himself a Clippers star and friend for life with that move!
And the announcers loved it too!
Ahh! He gave them chicken! He's a man of the people! He's a man of the people!
Not just any chicken! Free Chick-fil-A!
The Rockets ended up winning the game by 11 points. They didn't even need that extra point.
