This good boy here is named Alfonso. And Fonzi was stuck on a sheet of ice in the Detroit River for four days until this dude rescued him in an air boat.

His whole underside was completely covered in ice when they pulled him out. They don't even know how he was able to survive as long as he did, except that his fur was so matted it protected him against the elements.
