Only a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat like Tim Walz could turn a "congrats grads!" speech into a "Trump is Hitler and you live in Nazi Germany" screed.
Here's Walz at the University of Minnesota giving one heck of a sendoff to the grads.
Donald Trump's modern-day Gescapo- Gestapo - is scooping folks up off the streets. They're in unmarked vans, in masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons, no chance to mount a defense, not even a chance to kiss a loved one goodbye. Just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared.
So, anyways, congrats on your African American Studies degree with a minor in Dance! That will be very useful for years to come and you'll have a bright future in modern-day Nazi Germany!

I think calling hardworking Americans who are finally allowed to do their jobs and deport illegal aliens "Gestapo" is pretty anti-American.
And what do we think the implications of this are? What is his audience supposed to think?
If Walz's opponents are Nazis, and Nazis are the epitome of satanic evil, then they should be stopped by whatever means necessary. Former FBI Director James Comey was a little more direct last week with his calls for assassination.
Good thing the messenger out in Minnesota is such a goofball though!
No one in their right mind would take this self-described knucklehead seriously (I hope).
Something I do take seriously, however, is this response to Walz from the Trump team:
