This is the most adorable thing you'll see all week. These rescuers out in Virginia saved an abandoned baby fox and now they're dressing up as a fox to feed the little gal.
Seriously, that is so sweet. Whittle gal thinks it's momma!
Don't let the furries ruin something so pure!
And this dressing up as a fox is for the betterment of the pup, because the pup will not adapt much to life with humans and will be better suited for life out in the wild afterwards.
The video posted to Facebook by the Richmond Wildlife Center shows Executive Director Melissa Stanley wearing the somewhat-realistic mask and rubber gloves while feeding a red fox kit brought to the center earlier this month.
The center had earlier put out a call on social media for supplies including the purportedly realistic mask.
"It's important to make sure that the orphans that are raised in captivity do not become imprinted upon or habituated to humans," the post said. "To prevent that, we minimize human sounds, create visual barriers, reduce handling, reduce multiple transfers amongst different facilities, and wear masks for the species."
I'm gonna leave you some more cuteness in that video they originally sent out looking for help with this little lady, because I know you're here for the baby fox noises.
Man, these people are the best kind of people.
Glad they're helping this pup get her feet under her. Rumor has it, they're in contact with another rescue center which has a bunch of pups around the same age and may transfer this little lady to make some new friends.
You gotta love it!
