Imagine that you're walking casually down the street, minding your own business. A moment later, a man slams into you from above, sending you flying to the pavement.

That's what happened last month to Sunita K. in Bangalore, India. A passing motorcycle on the road next to her caught a downed cable in its back wheel. The wheel then acted like a winch, pulling taunt in a matter of seconds. The line caught a rickshaw driver behind Sunita, sending him flying into her. 😮

"Someone called my name and I turned around to see why," said Sunita. "The next thing I see is an auto driver flying towards me like Anjaneya [a Hindu monkey god]. Then he crashed into me and I collapsed. When I came to I was in pain and felt blood trickling down my neck. I was too shocked to move. I just sat there and waited for someone to help."

Fortunately, Sunita's husband was nearby and was able to rush her to a hospital, where she received 52 stitches. The driver caught in the wire was not injured.
