Outspoken and unfunny leftist comedian Chelsea Handler went on the Tonight Show last night and was asked about her former boyfriend 50 Cent supporting Trump.
Handler responded in maybe the most racist way possible.
Handler said that she had to remind 50 Cent that he was black, so of course he can't support Trump. You know, because black people definitely can't think for themselves or have a variety of political opinions.
The Biden's campaign has been using the old Democrat voting strategy of "you have to vote for Democrats because that's what black people do." You'll recall Biden's famous "you ain't black" incident in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God.
But for the left, this is the kind of thing that you can completely get away with saying on National TV, with no repercussions. Fallon doesn't even question it or act shocked. This casual and blatant racism is accepted in commonplace in Hollywood because the standards only go in one direction.
Kanye made waves being one of the first mainstream black celebrities to support Trump, but since then 50 Cent has come out in support, Ice Cube underwent criticism for advising Trump and working with him even while not supporting him, and Waka Flocka got into hot water this week when he suggested Trump may be a better president than Obama.
Van Jones points out some of the reasons why Trump is having unexpected success, much to the chagrin of his CNN colleagues.
Trump is doing better with black folks than the left would like to admit. And it is driving them crazy.
