Yes, women, we men think about the Pax Romana.
This woman's video is longer and has some swearing around 3 minutes, but she is legitimately shaken by how much her husband thinks about the Roman Empire:
Maybe you're sitting there thinking that this is limited to a bunch of old white guys who spend too much time pontificating about the glories of Rome.
Sorry to disappoint you, but no.

The ladies are mystified about this.
"How could men focus on the rise and fall of the Roman Empire? We live in a perfect utopia where all we need worry about is shopping, puppies, and Instagram! It's not like we have any historical parallels to antiquity that might cause the lads to start thinking about the decline of civilization and the strength of hard men in hard times!"
"Okay," you think, "but this is merely some internet fad pushed by influencers."
Enter the boys down in deep Appalachia:
I'm sorry to inform you ladies that pretty much any man worth his salt is thinking about the Roman Empire these days.
(You do realize our entire country, even down to the architecture and decor of our major public buildings, was founded on Greco-Roman themes? America's founders were obsessed.)
I will say though that there's something superior to the iron of the Roman Empire, or the empire of iron mixed with clay that is forming in our day.
