Darrell Brooks, the violent criminal who posted racist screeds on his social media and allegedly plowed his SUV through dozens of people at a Christmas parade this month, is facing an additional murder charge for an 8-year-old boy who died last week from the attack.

Prosecutors charged the suspect, who The Daily Wire has decided not to name, with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide on November 23. That same day, 8-year-old Jackson Sparks died from injuries sustained during the attack.

This brings the death toll to six, with dozens more wounded.

Prosecutors updated the charges against Brooks on Monday to include the murder of Jackson Sparks.

"Our sweet little boy is now under the care of Jesus," Sparks obituary says. "Jackson was a 3rd grader at Clarendon Avenue Elementary School and a member of LifePoint Church in Mukwonago. Jackson loved baseball and played for the Waukesha Blazers. When not playing baseball, or slam-dunking basketballs throughout the house, Jackson enjoyed fishing, catching frogs, and playing with his brother Tucker and his dog Qi'ra."

Jackson's 12-year-old brother, Tucker, was also injured in the attack. You can donate to their GoFundMe here.

We are dealing with a mass national tragedy right before Christmas โ€“ something that should be receiving the attention of our media and our leaders. They have made it their priority in recent years to engage with such stories, after all โ€“ even pronouncing their opinions on the charges before juries finish deliberating!

Instead, because it doesn't score points for their political agenda, those pundits and politicians are silent.

Isn't it interesting that the same people who shout "Say his name!" for people like Kenosha child rapist Joseph Rosenbaum want to pretend that an innocent child Jackson Sparks didn't exist?

Why is that?
