Before we get to this fantastic three-wide photo finish down in Atlanta, I wanna take you back to lap 2 of 260, when a multi-car crash sent eventual winner Daniel Suarez to the pit for repairs.
Many of those other drivers exited the race entirely, but Suarez inched his way back into the race, little by little, and eventually gained the lead, only to lose it with just five laps to go.
But then in the final lap the #99 car snuck around the outside and you gotta see this finish because it's one of the best you'll ever see in NASCAR.
Let's see that in slow-mo:
And from inside the #99 car:
Crazy!
[W]ith no clear winner [the finish] prompted a NASCAR review.
NASCAR declared Suarez the winner by 0.003 seconds over Blaney, handing the Mexican his second career win and first since the 2022 season, in what was the third closest finish in series history.
0.003 seconds!
Man, we won't see another finish like that for quite some time!
