"We should let it play out": Republican Senator Tim Scott says we should wait and see if the FBI comes up with anything from the raid of Mar-A-Lago

Tim Scott, a Republican senator from South Carolina, is out promoting his new book today. And because he's busy trying to pump up book sales he decides to give the FBI and Biden Justice Department the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the raid of Mar-a-Lago.

When asked his thoughts about the raid, here's what the cowardly senator said:

This is going to raise more questions in my opinion. We need to let this play out to see exactly what happens...

It has to be something of incredible magnitude for my side of the aisle to say it was warranted. Without that I think we're going to find ourselves in a very big mess when it comes to the credibility of the FBI.

Scott has already given the FBI all the cover it needs. He's fine with the raid, based on what he knows now, and he's going to "let it play out."

Letting it play out means that he's not going to demand answers from the FBI, he's going to let them go about their business of destroying the former president in a banana republic justice system while he and his senate colleagues twiddle their thumbs and tsk tsk the FBI.

The FBI is a rogue agency performing rogue warrants on former presidents, and squishy Republicans like Scott want to sit back and let it happen.

Scott is specifically asked if he thinks the FBI will find anything at Mar-a-Lago and he gives the weakest answer possible.

As opposed to rushing to judgment, the most important thing that we can do is let it play out. Because I have no idea what they were looking for, and I don't think anybody knows what they are looking for.

That's the entire problem. No one knows what the FBI is looking for, and instead of demanding to know the reason behind the lawless raid, Scott thinks we should let the FBI continue in their mission to destroy 45.

With Republican allies like these who needs enemies?
