Don't say it, don't say it...
That's right, the U.S. economy contracted for the second straight quarter, meeting the technical and agreed-upon-until-2-seconds-ago definition of RECESSION. Buuuut there's a Democrat in office so we can't have that.
Check out how the corporate media is reporting the news. More jukes than Barry Sanders and more qualifiers than a PGA major.
First, CNN:
"Fueling recession fears." See how they did that?
"A man was shot and killed today, fueling fears that he may die..."
How about CNBC, the world leader in finance:
"A strong recession signal"...
The Washington Post:
"Reviving recession fears"?? They never went away, and the recession is now here based on how we've always defined it!
The New York Times:
Same garbage. "Raising fears that the United States may be entering a recession." Because it's not REALLY a recession until the liberal behind the curtain says so.
Axios:
"Igniting"? Where have these people been?
Fox News even got in on the action:
"Technical recession." They won't just say the R-word without a qualifier.
And NBC News hasn't even bothered to report it, all these hours after the fact ๐๐๐
Don't worry, I am 100% sure they would be reporting this the EXACT SAME WAY if a Republican were in office!
