You've seen modern art, but never a man-made horror like THIS

Art Basel has a nightmare-fueling installation running over the next few days from modern artists Beeple and hyperrealistic mask-maker Landon Meier.

It will forever haunt my dreams.

Robot dogs with the faces of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and two Mike Winkelmanns (Beeple) that take photos and poop out polaroids.

(Lord Jesus, come quickly.)

The robots use AI to create the polaroid excrement in the corresponding artistic styles of the men they represent:

Zuckerberg's for example, looks like the Metaverse, Musk's is a black and white robot take, while Picasso is cubist and Warhol is pop art.

Bezos's robot doesn't make anything.

What does it mean?

Here's Beeple's manifesto:

It used to be that we saw the world interpreted through the eyes of artists, but now Mark Zuckerberg and Elon, in particular, control a huge amount of how we see the world. We see the world through their eyes because they control these very powerful algorithms that decide what we see. And so we wanted to kind of play with that idea.

You're increasingly seeing the world through the eyes of AI and robotics. I think that will happen more and more.

The robots were instantly snapped up by art collectors for $100,000 each.

While this sort of "art" is a cursed and wretched form of terror, I have to hand it to Meier...

He absolutely nailed Zuckerberg's thousand-yard stare.
