Rainy days can be boring.
You might use the time to watch a movie, read a book, play some video games, or even just take a little snooze.
Or, you could be like this kid:
I love how he's just waving to random cars as they pass by. 🤣🤣
Admittedly, this was post-storm fun, but you have to think Brett Holland of Cape Coral, Florida spent much of the Sunday rainstorm in a mode they call brainstorm—thinking of all the things he would need to make this dream become reality.
"When we were living in Mississippi, I saw a couple people doing this on the Internet," he told WBBH-TV. "And now that I wakeboard and surf I was like, 'I gotta do it!'"
Holland tied a rope to the back of his father's truck and wakeboarded behind the vehicle while his dad drove through the flooded streets.
That is one great father!!!
Towing your son around as he glides behind your truck on a wakeboard in the floodwater is peak #1 dad!
And look, Brett and his dad even made the local news:
Very cool stuff, guys!
It's like they always say: When life gives you floods, make surf parks.
