This is peak leftist hypocrisy: NY Gov. Kathy Hochul, a white Democrat, is considering removing NYC Mayor Eric Adams, a black Democrat, because — wait for it — he actually wants to enforce immigration laws.
Apparently, protecting New Yorkers is now an impeachable offense.
Adams allowing violent migrants to run wild? Keep him in. Adams wanting to enforce the law? Remove him at once!

Hochul acknowledged in a statement that ousting Adams, a fellow Democrat, would be a ‘serious step' but said ‘alleged conduct at City Hall that has been reported over the past two weeks is troubling and cannot be ignored.'
Hochul said she plans to meet with ‘key leaders' in Manhattan on Tuesday before issuing a decision.
Meanwhile, the DOJ dropped its corruption case against Adams right after he started playing ball with Trump's deportation plans. And now, Hochul — who often rants about "white systemic racism" — wants to overrule a black man.
The departures were triggered by the U.S. Justice Department's controversial decision to drop corruption charges against Adams.
Critics say the DOJ shelved its criminal corruption and bribery case against Adams after he agreed to collaborate with President Trump's immigration crackdown.
The Left never actually believes its own nonsense, and nothing proves it better than this circus.
