Why isn’t the media talking about the 70 Christians that were just beheaded?

In case more evidence was needed to make it clear that the corporate media is the worst, nearly every major Western outlet has ignored the 70 Christians who were just beheaded inside a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

An ISIS-affiliated group of militants is believed to be responsible for the horrific scene. They even bragged by taking pictures:

[Warning: Blurred, but extremely graphic]

Yes. A group of Muslim terrorists slit the throats of 70 dads, moms, and kids, then left their corpses inside their church - all because they believe in Jesus Christ.

I guess the media was too busy reporting on teenagers defacing gay pride crosswalks to report on this actual hate crime.

From the Daily Wire:

Christian group Open Doors, which supports persecuted Christians around the world, said that terrorists from the rebel Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), which has ties to the Islamic State, surrounded a village in Mayba in the territory of Lubero last Thursday, taking 20 men and women captive. The Islamic terrorists later returned and kidnapped 50 more Christians in the village and took them to a Protestant church in Kasanga, where they were brutally killed.

Despite the shocking nature of the killings, this is sadly not something new for the DRC.

According to Open Doors, 355 Christians in DRC were killed in 2024 for their faith, an increase from 261 in 2023.

As another example, here's another story from earlier this month where 89 Christians were killed.

Anyone see anything about this in the mainstream corporate media?

Here's the entirety of Google's first page of search results:

Newsweek was the only major outlet to report on it. Otherwise, it's conservative/Christian media alongside ... Hungary Today and the Modern Tokyo Times?

Can you imagine the media frenzy that would ensue if something like this was perpetrated against one of the Left's preferred identity groups?

Lord, have mercy on the Christians in the DRC.
