Why yes, we have one of the most secure voting systems in the entire world. Why do you ask?

Remember, folks: Our election system in this country is beyond reproach, flawless, with no security concerns whatsoever. Don't forget it:

A Wisconsin judge ruled Monday that state law does not allow the use of mobile absentee voting sites, siding with Republicans who had challenged the city of Racine's use of a voting van that traveled around the city in 2022.

A ... van. They used a van. To get votes.

Republicans "opposed the use of the van," CBS reports, with the GOP "saying its use was against the law, increased the chances of voter fraud and was used to bolster Democratic turnout."

Which, I mean, yes, all of those things are true. The third one is unsurprising โ€” both Democrats and Republicans will "bolster turnout" however they can โ€” but the first two are absolute deal-breakers.

(I mean, if you want secure elections anyway, which it's pretty clear Democrats do not.)

Oh, but how did the town of Racine get its hands on the van in the first place? Well, you won't be surprised, I can assure you:

It was purchased with grant money Racine received from the Center for Tech and Civic Life, the nonprofit created by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife.

It was a ZuckBucks van.

The court ruling found no evidence in Wisconsin law "allowing the use of a van or vehicle as an alternate absentee voting vehicle," though Judge Eugene Gasiorkiewicz acknowledged that the legislature could at some point move to make it legal.

Being Wisconsin, I could see that happening. And I think we know where they'll get the money for these vans.
