On Tuesday, local Christians met at Seattle City Hall to protest Mayor Bruce Harrell labeling them bigots.

That's quite literally the label that Mayor Harrell's office applied to a Christian worship event held at a downtown park over Memorial Day weekend. When violent Antifa thugs showed up to brawl with police in an attempt to get at the Christians, Harrell blamed the Christians. 👇
On Monday, after Harrell had been called out for blaming the victims, he doubled down and suggested that his critics are racists.
In response, local believers decided to peacefully assemble to address their grievances with the mayor. They didn't throw Molotov cocktails and fight police. Instead, they gathered on the steps of city hall to pray and worship.
Their message? That Jesus Christ loves their city and commands His followers to speak the truth.
As mentioned above, however, Antifa showed up to this event as well, forcing the city to deploy a large number of police to protect the crowd of singing Christians.

At one point, left-wing activists harassed local reporters Jonathan Choe and Katie Daviscourt, forcing them to flee to police for safety.
Many other people trying to enter or leave the worship service were unable to get through the Antifa mob and had to be escorted to safety by police. Some of the left-wing activists got violent, even going as far as to lunge at a mom carrying her baby.

Thankfully, because elections have consequences, the FBI is actually going to investigate this targeted religious persecution of Christians.
