I gotta say, Tony Evers is the most boring dud of a governor I've ever come across in my home state of Wisconsin. So I guess it comes as no surprise that his campaign has turned to offering $2,000 per post to social media influencers willing to write positive messages on his behalf ahead of next month's election.
Dude is seriously this desperate:
A business called People First (formerly Main Street One) was hired by Tony Evers for Governor…to go out and find online content creators to create paid support about him online. So far, they have paid PeopleFirst $52K to find participants to post positive messages about Tony Evers for Governor.
This is not a joke.
Here's an email one Wisconsinite received from People First:
$2,000+
Yeah dude, they're in desperate need of some manufactured support for Tony Evers in order to make this election competitive.
Dude's that boring and unpopular!
Here's some amazing information concerning People First:
The CEO of People First, Curtis Hougland, has a detailed explanation of the company on his LinkedIn profile. Here's some info pulled from his profile:
"People First pioneered ‘micro influencer' campaigns in politics for Planned Parenthood, Black Lives Matter PAC, Latino Victory Fund, Ad Council, AFSCME as well as the DGA, DLCC, DSCC, and DAGA."
It continues, "He launched People First, originally Main Street One, after working at the front lines of mitigating Russian, ISIL, Alt-Right, and Anti-Vaxx propaganda. In addition to his brand and social work, he spends much of his time right now persuading Americans to take the COVID-19 vaccine."
So that should tell you all you need to know about this organization.
Probably, you've seen some of their posts concerning the "safety" of the mRNA vaccines.
Totally trustworthy organization right there!
And that's who's out gathering manufactured support for Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin.
Dude's still gonna lose to Tim Michaels no matter how many fake social media posts that People First puts out in his favor.
