Well, here's some actual good news coming from the social media culture wars.
Recently, Podcast Movement genuflected to the triggered snowflake mob on the Left and issued a pathetic and groveling apology because Ben Shapiro showed up to one of their events.
Here's a screenshot of the pathetic apology.
Now, in a shocking turn of events, Podcast Movement deleted its initial apology which slandered and attacked Shapiro.
They have now issued an apology to Shapiro for their overreaction.
Shapiro responded to the apology.
This may be the first time I've actually seen a significant company back off its censorious viewpoint thanks to blowback from people, not just on the right, but in the center, people who said this is ridiculous, you can't do this. You can't just, sort of, call yourself a pro-free speech, diversity of viewpoint event and just ban the biggest podcaster on the political right and the biggest political podcast in the country.
This is a very, very positive development.
Conservatives have so few victories and the Left almost NEVER backs down. But this campaign actually pressured this company into retracting its attack on Shapiro.
Shapiro is correct, this is actually a very good sign for the country.
We have to learn to live together.
