This is unreal.
Becky Lynch, known in the WWE as "The Man," has made "Jeopardy" history this week after answering zero questions correctly during the regular and Double Jeopardy rounds. Zero for sixty, though she only chimed in four times (still bad).
Yes, the WWE might be extremely popular these days, and your kids might enjoy a good Monday Night Raw, but apparently those actors out there don't know squat about anything.
In a first not just for "Celebrity Jeopardy" but for "Jeopardy" as a whole, the pro wrestling superstar delivered zero correct responses across the first 60 clues.
According to popular "Jeopardy" statistics tracking site "The Jeopardy! Fan," Lynch is the first known contestant to have no correct responses across both the regular and Double Jeopardy rounds.
Historically bad, Becky.
Historically bad.
Becky eventually did get on the board later on in the game, which must've been a relief.
She finally got on the board (while still holding a negative score) in the "Celebrity Jeopardy"-only Triple Jeopardy round talking about butts, responding to the clue, "A synonym for ‘butt', it's also ‘an unclean animal' according to the King James Bible." Her correct response: "What is ‘a**'?" Lynch celebrated ecstatically, yelling, "I'm back, baby!"
Lynch even managed to get another question correct immediately following that one, responding to a clue about Alicia Silverstone's film yellow suit that went missing with the correct response, "Clueless."
Clueless is right.
Becky ended the night $500 in the hole, which was not a great showing for the WWE. However, this was the most-watched episode of "Jeopardy" this season, so there's that.
Well, in good time we'll get this fine clue right here on a future episode of "Jeopardy":
She is the only contestant in "Jeopardy" history to go zero for sixty over the regular and Double Jeopardy rounds.
And we'll all remember exactly who it was. Well, all of us except for Becky, of course.
