It's good to get your news and technical information from a wide variety of sources. Why, listening to Joy Behar, you can learn things about weapons that you would never learn anywhere else! Case in point:

"If you shoot with an AR-15, let's say you shoot a deer, you can't eat it because you basically demolish the animal."

Ahh, yes, the AR-15, firing the 5.56mm, a round so powerful it can literally destroy a deer beyond recognition.

For reference, here's a comparison between the 5.56mm and a standard deer cartridge, the .270 Winchester. I'll let you figure out which is which. I don't think you'll need much time.

Try "demolishing a deer" with the round on the left and see what happens!

(Legal Disclaimer: It isn't lawful to use 5.56 for deer in several states because it is too small to consistently kill them.)
