If you're over the age of 30, you might not have ever heard of him, but there's this dude on YouTube who goes by the name of Mr. Beast and he really lives up to his name.
Mr. Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has massive YouTube fame just from giving away TONS and TONS of money.
The dude gets more views on two videos than CNN has gotten in 10 years
We are talking MILLIONS of dollars over the course of just a few years.
The YouTuber, who brings in millions of his own revenue each month, was recently offered a VERY lucrative deal for his brand:
Someone offered Mr. Beast $1 BILLION for his company.
Billion with a B.
And he turned it down because he just loves YouTube and loves doing his own thing.
From Barstool:
He's one of the most genuine and humble dudes the internet has ever seen. When he went on JRE, he just kept talking about how he doesn't really care about money and just wants to continue to produce the best content possible. I'm paraphrasing here, but his wording was something along the lines of, "I don't understand why someone wants to live their life to just own a bigger box to live in. you'll never be happy and continue to chase bigger and bigger things. That's not a way I want to live life."
Mr. Beast pours everything he has into his content and it's obvious.
From the beginning, Jimmy didn't just pocket money. He would invest every dollar he made back into his channel. And he would give away lots and lots of his own money, just to make other people happy.
Mr. Beast has over 100 Million YouTube subscribers, and does things like you see in this compilation all the time:
The videos are silly, everything he does is with his goofy friends, and this formula has made Jimmy a multi-millionaire.
But he has almost certainly given away more money than he has kept.
He's a dude that is passionate about what he does and he has a generous spirit.
And he'd rather just keep doing what he's doing than collect a $1 billion check.
What an absolute boss.
