YouTube memory-holed all copies of Trump’s CPAC speech so there’s no funny business like thinking for yourself

Our wonderful and all-knowing overlords at Google thought it best to erase Donald Trump's most recent speech at the CPAC conference last weekend. After all, the former president has uttered thoughtcrimes that deviate from the Party's updated Newspeak.

If you actually watched Trump's speech on Sunday, you know there was absolutely nothing in there that was censor-worthy. Yes, Trump mentioned election fraud again. No, he did not even come close to anything deemed hate speech or incitement to violence. Not even in the same freaking galaxy.

It was, in all honesty, perhaps one of his most balanced speeches. He especially talked a lot about "toxic cancel culture."

For that, Google-owned YouTube cancelled all copies of Trump's speech off their platform and suspended the Right Side Broadcasting Network.

Here's what Right Side had to say:

"Our network provides very little in the way of commentary. We basically just turn a camera on and show you what's happening- and let you decide. People can choose to watch it, not watch it, hate it or love it. That's called freedom. If that's no longer allowed then God help us."

God help us, indeed.

Let's do a little brain exercise. What would the Left say if YouTube removed a speech recently made by Barack Obama and suspended CNN for posting it? It would be rightly labelled an authoritarian alliance between corporations and a political party that strangely mirrors Italian fascism.

"This is the end of Democracy!" Don Lemon would cry, as Chris Cuomo weeps profusely on his shoulder.

But Trump and conservative outlets get nuked because it's "disinformation." YouTube believes it has a 100% correct understanding and ownership of the truth.

Yikes.

The good news is that the internet is forever and there's a growing list of places that are standing up to this digital Fahrenheit 451 (RIP Dr. Seuss).

If you want to watch Trump's speech in full, here it is. Enjoy the ability to think for yourself, you wonderful free people:
