Over the past few days I've gotten a whole lot done: I've gone grocery shopping, took care of some light repair around the house, cleaned out the fridge.

I can't say I've survived three attempts on my life, though. I mean, who among us could say such a thing?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly survived three assassination attempted in the last week.

Mercenaries from the Kremlin-backed Wagner group and Chechen special forces were both allegedly sent to kill the Ukrainian president since Russia's invasion began last week.

The assassins were foiled by subversive anti-war members within Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) - Russia's successor to the KGB - who alerted Ukraine officials, The Times reported.

Yeah that's just...I mean, yeah. What can you say about that? I know this is reporting from the Ukrainian government and they want their guy to look good, so take it all with a grain of salt, but dang.

I mean, look, generally if the Russian government puts you on a list, that's it, you're done, might as well order the extra burger patty and light up the cigar because your days are numbered.

Unless you're Volodymyr Zelensky, that is. I mean, it probably takes a lot for a Russian operative to flip like that. Going double-agent on the Russian government is no small thing. You really got to have a good reason for that.

You can bet these aren't the only times Putin is going to try and take out Zelensky.

We'd also bet it's not the only time he'll fail at it.
