MSNBC hacks are blasting Ronna McDaniel, but they've said nothing about their network hiring Al Sharpton

After helping to destroy the Republican Party for a generation, Ronna McDaniel sent the left-wing mediascape into a frenzy when it was predictably announced that the former RNC chair would be joining NBC/MSNBC as a paid contributor.

After all, the politics-to-media gravy-train is always open for business.

This was a bridge too far for NBC and MSNBC's arbiters of (their) truth.

It's objectively hilarious that Jen Psaki โ€” who said that her being hired straight from the Biden White House was different to McDaniel being hired straight from the RNC because she doesn't lie like McDaniel does ... despite Psaki happily pushing the debunked propaganda that any criticism of Hunter Biden in 2020 was Russian disinformation.

But let's not forget to spare a moment for MSNBC's chief propagandist, Rachel Maddow.

While all of these clowns squeeze out their crocodile tears over a gasp Republican joining their ranks, why are they silent when it comes to other people on the payroll?

What about Al Sharpton, for example?

This is the same Sharpton who, during the infamous Tawana Brawley rape case in 1987, and despite "overwhelming evidence" that resulted in a grand jury concluding that the story was a fabrication, accused Dutchess County prosecutor Steven Pagones not only of racism but of being one of the perpetrators in the alleged abduction and rape.

Pagones sued for defamation and won ... but Sharpton managed to dodge paying his share of the damages.

This is the same Sharpton at the center of the Crown Heights race riots in 1991, happily inciting violence against Jews with comments like, "If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house." During the riots, a 29-year-old Jewish student was murdered.

This is the same Sharpton who, during a speech at Kean College in 1994, said, "Do some cracker come and tell you, โ€˜well my mother and father blood go back to the Mayflower,' you better hold your pocket. That ain't nothing to be proud of, that means their forefathers was crooks."

What about in 2007 when he said this about Mitt Romney: "As for the one Mormon running for office, those who really believe in God will defeat him anyways, so don't worry about that; that's a temporary situation."

Despite his history of abject bigotry, Al Sharpton happily sits on MSNBC's payroll.

And he's welcomed with open arms.

So the next time hacks like Chuck Todd, Jen Psaki, and Rachel Maddow protest, screeching about the threat of those whose only crime is being a supposed member of the Republican Party, remember that they happily share the screen with someone who has made millions from fueling racism.

It's just not the kind of racism they care about.
