Don Lemon (pronounced Lé-mon, according to me) is an obvious clown - an embarrassing hack whose performative nonsense even became too much for the mainstream media.
The mainstream media! They still employ George Stephanopoulos!
Here's the real problem with Don Lemon. While he and his equally-embarrassing comrades bang the wafer-thin drum of racism as often as humanly possible, we must realize the truth:
People like him are the ones keeping racism alive.
Does actual racism still exist? Of course it does.
But actual cases of racism are being drowned out by ridiculous fictional accusations of racism that not only impede the fight against bigotry, but force people to continue to exist in a world that refuses to move on from voluntary feelings of victimhood.
And why?
Because crying racism is all morons like Don Lemon have left.
When Elon Musk cancelled Lemon's contract with X because of the host's list of insane demands — including $5 million upfront in addition to his $8 million salary, a free Tesla Cybertruck, equity in X, and the right to approve or deny changes in company policy regarding news content (geez, all Not The Bee gives me for these articles is a smile and a half-eaten sandwich) — did Don Lemon look into one of his many, many, many mirrors and self-reflect?
No! He went on his new show and said that Elon Musk was uncomfortable with him because Don Lemon is *gasp* gay and black.
And others doubled down, including Michael Harriot, who wrote an op-ed titled "Don Lemon interviewed a mediocre white man."
First off, Elon Musk isn't "white." He's African American.
Secondly, if Elon Musk is mediocre, what the heck does that make us?! The man is turning flying to Mars into a reality, spearheading the electric and autonomous vehicle industry, and implanting electrodes into the brains of nerds so they can play video games without having to go through the agony of moving their fingers.
Thirdly, and most importantly, this laughable and childish nonsense is actually the final death rattle of those who cling to America's undeniably racist past to justify their own mediocrity.
Don Lemon can't admit that he sucks, so he has to rely on his dual gay and black cards.
Cards that, sooner or later, will run out of credit.
