Comedian and internet libertarian commentator Dave Smith says Donald Trump should be "impeached from office" for "betraying" voters over his recent pro-Israel stance and opposition to Iran obtaining nuclear weapons.
Donald Trump should be impeached and removed for this. All of his supporters should turn on him. It's the absolute betrayal of everything he ran and campaigned on.
Dave's claim is that Trump has done a 180 on what he originally campaigned on, stating he's sorry for ever voting for the guy.
But let's check out this compilation from Michael Knowles at The Daily Wire, featuring Donald Trump repeatedly warning that Iran must never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons:
As we can see, Trump has been beating this "no nukes for Iran" drum for years — I mean, quite literally campaigning on it. Doesn't look like ‘betrayal' to me, boss. Maybe Dave just isn't paying attention?

It sure is strange that some people (like Comedian Dave Smith) are now acting surprised — and "betrayed" — he supports Israel's efforts to stop Iran from allegedly developing nuclear weapons.
Like — it's one thing to just not like the policy. It's another, however, to falsely play the victim over this, while trying to convince viewers to turn on Trump entirely (cringe).
Listen, I'm just a guy on the internet here to set the record straight: What Dave — and plenty of others — are claiming here is objectively and factually false.

Seems this leftist was paying more attention than Dave (how embarrassing):
I'm not here to debate whether Iran is actually close to building nukes, whether Israel's actions are justified, or whether the U.S. should be involved at all — you can hash that out in the comments.
My job as a journalist is simply to point out, as clearly as possible, that despite the confusion (or maybe intentional gaslighting) in some MAGA circles, Trump has been consistent and clear about his position on this issue from the start.
Meanwhile, here's Dave:

This is exactly what you voted for, if you voted for Trump: a pro-Israel, anti-nuclear Iran foreign policy.
Sorry, Dave.
