"This is a textbook case of misreading the room." That's what I saw written more than once last night by a handful of commentators regarding this announcement yesterday evening from Vice President Kamala Harris:
Misreading the room? That's about as generous as you can possibly be. Try flipping off the room.
To give you an idea just how tone-deaf this statement was, the same day the Biden administration trotted Harris out to deliver it, an official from the maniacal Islamic butchers at Hamas announced their commitment to a new Holocaust:
That is the enemy that Israel faces right now. Not a military adversary, but a Satanic cult that has declared it "loves death more than Israel loves life" in its own charter. Animals who see infant Jews as combatants and legitimate military targets. Savage barbarians who make Hitler look civilized.
Yet, despite that being transparently obvious to anyone paying attention - Hamas has no compunction or hesitation about making their genocidal fervor a secret - sympathy for their butchery has manifested in grotesque explosions of pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests across our country.

And that only begins to scratch the surface of the recent explosion of anti-Semitic sewage flooding the streets of our cities in recent days. To state the obvious, no such eruption of hatred towards Muslims has been evident anywhere.
To hear such a demonic pronouncement as the one that came from the Islamist totalitarians at Hamas yesterday, to witness these disgusting displays of pro-Islamist antisemitism exploding across college campuses and Islam-inspired Jew-hatred throughout the West, and then appear before cameras announcing your commitment to fighting … Islamophobia? What is that?
Well, I'll tell you first what it isn't. It isn't, "misreading the room." It's reading the room just fine, and then consciously choosing to spit in every Jewish face the room contains.
America desperately needs morally sane leadership.
