At this point, Kamala Harris's entire campaign strategy is to scream "I know you are, but what am I?" as loudly as possible every time someone points out how useless and/or radical she is.
Of course, it always helps when you have a never-ending supply of people willing to help you out.
Enter billionaire Mark Cuban, who argued that we haven't heard calls for socialist-style price controls from Vice President Kamala Harris, but we have from Trump, who is trying to out-socialist Bernie Sanders.
Never go full Bernie Sanders ...
Look, Trump's plans for tariffs and capped credit card rates aren't good, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But the idea that Kamala Harris is a warrior for capitalism against Donald Trump's brand of socialism (in Mark Cuban's imagination) is ridiculous.
First off, the reason we haven't heard Kamala Harris say anything is because she hasn't said anything! Since being implanted as the oh-so-Democratic nominee for president, she's generally avoided media scrutiny like the plague, and for good reason: she's terrible off-script. And so it's easy for useful campaign surrogates like Cuban to rush to hide behind the denial routine because Harris' own brand of English is so difficult to understand that everyone is right and everyone is wrong about what she says and what she thinks.
Second, though, he's simply not telling the truth, because she has actually called for price controls! After causing widespread outrage after calling for price controls (and the media rushing to cover for her, basically arguing why widespread hunger is a good thing), in her first one-on-one interview as the nominee, Harris again said that she is "going to go after" companies that engage in price gouging.
History tip: Politicians blaming "the rich" — where the rich are actual rich people, corporations or, when in doubt, the Jews — for the problems these same politicians caused is actually socialism 101.
This great thread from Senator Mike Lee explains why Kamala Harris's idea of price controls (which could just be an enforced 10% discount at Cartier, for all we know):
Remember: if you say "Kamala Harris is not a socialist" three times, crippling hunger and mass poverty appears.
