I have always found it almost inarguable that black conservatives face more overt racism and race-based hostility than any other group identity in American society. The white liberals who control academia, the media, pop culture, and social media have insidiously designed a political agenda that they deign to be "good for the blacks."
Presumptuous and offensive enough not to recognize that black people – like white people – are not monolithic and do, in fact, have unique minds, bodies, spirits, and experiences that will lead to a wide variety of political preferences, white liberalism takes it a step further.
Any black figure who dares to criticize what white liberals have established and chosen for them – who questions the efficacy, wisdom, or motivations of these white progressive overlords – is outrageously to be branded a traitor to their race, and slandered with explicitly racist language (see Twitter's eye-popping decision to allow the epithet "Uncle Tim" to trend for hours after black conservative Senator Tim Scott delivered a stinging rebuke to President Biden's first address to Congress).
The permission these white progressive titans give themselves to mistreat minorities who dare to think differently than them may be unconscionable, but it is effective. Even among those with money and means like star athletes, fewer than ever exhibit the courage to walk off the pre-established progressive thought plantation.
So effective is the strategy for the Left, it's hardly surprising to see it being implemented in other demographic categories as well.
For instance, not only do progressives shamefully pretend to be the architects of the "black" agenda, they unbecomingly assume the same when it comes to women. "Women's issues" all bear a startling resemblance, in mainstream parlance, to issues on the progressive agenda. As if to be a "real woman," one must embrace abortion on demand, environmental activism, increased funding for public schools, and be aggrieved over a supposed gender pay gap.
And any feud or disagreement between a conservative male and a woman, no matter the reason, the instigator, the issue, or the aggressor, is promoted as proof of the formula: progressive = pro woman.
Remember in 2017, Democrat Elizabeth Warren stood on the floor of the Senate slandering her colleague Jeff Sessions as a bigot, racist, and sexist. Her nasty diatribe led to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell invoking Senate Rule 19 to have her pipe down. Defending his decision, McConnell explained that Warren had been warned of the consequence of her actions, but "nevertheless, she persisted."
What happened? Because she is a progressive and was vilifying a conservative man, the leftist machine used McConnell's phrase to turn Warren into the next Susan B. Anthony or Sojourner Truth:

It's all meant to feed the impression that progressives admire strong women who are willing to stand their ground and cling to the courage of their convictions. But like with race, the Left's appreciation for the uniqueness of feminine thought is totally dependent upon whether those are liberal thoughts being espoused.
It isn't that they believe women deserve to be heard and respected. It's that they believe women saying what they want to hear deserve to be heard and respected.
As for those women who say something different, well they're ignorant, childish, racist dopes.
So, though I likely disagree with Senator Scott on some issues, and likely disagree with Senator Sinema on more, here's a word of encouragement to all those minorities and women who dare to think differently than the way they are stupidly told their gender or ethnicity demands they think.
You are unique, significant, esteemed, and do not deserve to be collectively grouped, herded, labeled, and dismissed when it comes to meaningful participation in thoughtful dialogue. Your individual experiences matter, and your voice is valuable.
Thanks for persisting, regardless of the Left's relentless efforts to erase you.
