If you are one of the tens of millions of left-leaning Americans in the country, you might see this come across your social feed:
[Warning: Language]
The video, taken November 6 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, looks frightening. Like the hundreds of millions of people who falsely thought Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin was kneeling on George Floyd's neck instead of his shoulder blades, the camera appears to show a stunning display of brutality.
Taking the local news report from WVCB out of context also appears to condemn the ICE agents.
Tens of millions of Americans will see such reports, and then never see anything beyond them. Is it any wonder that they think President Trump is a tyrant deploying stormtroopers to hurt innocent people?
Except, well, there is another side of the story.
As WVCB reported, here is Assistant Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin:
Juliana Minela Ojeda-Montoya stabbed a co-worker twice with a pair of scissors in August. Her motive is unclear.
(Perhaps she was attempting to avenge her father?)

How Montoya got a job when she was in the country illegally is yet another mystery, and yet she had repaid the kindness and gratitude of milking the system by assaulting someone.
As such, ICE prioritized her deportation from the country.
Because we live in clown world, a crowd (mostly white liberal women) assembled to impede the officers. When police tried to remove Montoya from the vehicle, her husband pretended to have a seizure. He was most certainly aware of the cameras rolling, and how his infant child could be used as a prop.
And yet tens of millions of people will see videos like that without ever hearing about the criminal nature of the "victim."
This happens on the Right as well - accounts pushing the narrative that NYC Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani is an Islamist jihadi when he is rather a globalist Marxist who uses Islam as part of his multi-tiered intersectional identity - would be one small, recent example.
But unlike the Left, the Right tends to have diversity of thought and debate over issues, and emphasizes the liberty of people to do so.
That is, unless you are a Heritage staffer who doesn't want to attend Jewish religious dinners.
All of us are being propagandized every moment we spend reading the news or social media. I'm doing it to some extent to you right now, though I'm being bluntly honest about my perspective and the context I'm providing.
Because we all assemble "experts" to help give us such context, we all end up in comfortable, safe bubbles that ultimately become our prisons. To see outside of them, we need a source of truth above the human propaganda war (have you read your Bible lately?) and conversations with real people we personally trust.
Until Americans start doing that en masse, expect more crossfire in a divided country where everyone lives in different narratives.
